“I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The book is an amazing compilation of the thinking, attitudes, emotions and behaviors of alcoholics and addicts everywhere. The “addictive insanity” of the disease is clearly portrayed in the sardonic humor that is so characteristic of recovering AA members. The insights gained in the struggle for recovery are precious gems that only those who have been there can share so very well. This is a book of wisdom and guidance for the human condition, not just for recovery from alcoholism. It is worth reading and studying if one is to know and understand real humanity.
